Enhance Steering Performance with Edelmann 8798 Power Steering Pump Seal Kit Review

The set worked well, eliminated the leaks I had with the block, but unfortunately the bearings on the pump broke. I still gave it 5 stars because it did its job and fixed the leaks.

This kit included everything I needed to re-seal the power steering pump on my '98 Lexus ES300 plus banjo fitting sealing washers at the joint from the pump to the pressure line. It looks like a good set costs a lot less than other sellers.

My '99 4-channel steering pump was squeaking badly. The original pump and I never cleaned the tank so I decided to buy it and rebuild the pump. I know how to turn the key, I changed the timing belt myself. After installing this kit I had no power steering. Included was a SMALL diagram showing the pump exploding what goes where, but no part numbers or which seal is which.
