I was a bit apprehensive about this product but I gave it a try and am very glad I did. This product is really easy to use and allows you to connect any smart key and/or fob to your car. The dealer asked $120 to cut and program the key! For about $80 you can get a new key/remote and never have to go to the dealership or locksmith again to have a new key set up for your car. Notes: It only works on the specified vehicles (I used it on a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder). Once connected, it cannot be used on any other vehicle (don't wear it, that would be a shame). If you forgot your key or fob the first time, or took the wrong step, don't worry - just plug it back in and head back in that direction. To cut the blank key I just took it to Walmart and they cut it to match the existing key. I had no problems.
