(Nissan Frontier 2018) Worked great; easy instructions

Like everyone else I needed to program a new ignition key for my car but I didn't want to pay the dealer an exorbitant price. I bought individual keys from CarKeys Express and cut them at a local locksmith and then used this machine to pair the keys to my car. The instructions were very easy and the pairing process only takes about 15-20 minutes. I've also included scanned dial locations from the manual in case someone lost theirs.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • No form needed

Followed the instructions and everything works!

So I thought about getting a locksmith and programming new keys. The local locksmith wanted to charge me $30 if he came to my house. Parts and labor cost me $180 per key, totaling $749 for four keys including home visits. So I bought this product from Simple Key, followed the instructions and Boom! I just saved $749! BTW, some hardware stores won't charge you a dime for key cutting, but that's only if you have the original key and the new key to cut!

I saved $150 on interiors

This product works great. Just read all the instructions before you start. It says it will delete your existing key. I don't know if it works or not as after programming the two keys that came with it I reprogrammed my existing key to be on the safe side. The cheapest locksmith key I could find was $150 per key just for the keys. They wanted more for keychains and for their programming. This kit gives me 2 keys and keychain for less than 1 key. He's worth his money. Just remember, read theโ€ฆ

It works out! The frustrating chip key is no longer necessary!

I was a bit apprehensive about this product but I gave it a try and am very glad I did. This product is really easy to use and allows you to connect any smart key and/or fob to your car. The dealer asked $120 to cut and program the key! For about $80 you can get a new key/remote and never have to go to the dealership or locksmith again to have a new key set up for your car. Notes: It only works on the specified vehicles (I used it on a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder). Once connected, it cannot be usedโ€ฆ

You will need to reprogram your WORK KEY

This is very important and NOT clear in the instructions: you will need to reprogram your ORIGINAL work key at the same time as pairing the new key(s) Video, which I looked at - Tom did NOT reprogram the original working key. He just programmed his new key. I followed the video and instructions. I still have 1 new working key but my original key did not start the car. I called tech support and the tech gentleman told me to call the dealer or auto mechanic. He advised NOT to try again! WHAT? How
