Like everyone else I needed to program a new ignition key for my car but I didn't want to pay the dealer an exorbitant price. I bought individual keys from CarKeys Express and cut them at a local locksmith and then used this machine to pair the keys to my car. The instructions were very easy and the pairing process only takes about 15-20 minutes. I've also included scanned dial locations from the manual in case someone lost theirs.

So I thought about getting a locksmith and programming new keys. The local locksmith wanted to charge me $30 if he came to my house. Parts and labor cost me $180 per key, totaling $749 for four keys including home visits. So I bought this product from Simple Key, followed the instructions and Boom! I just saved $749! BTW, some hardware stores won't charge you a dime for key cutting, but that's only if you have the original key and the new key to cut!

This product works great. Just read all the instructions before you start. It says it will delete your existing key. I don't know if it works or not as after programming the two keys that came with it I reprogrammed my existing key to be on the safe side. I was a bit apprehensive about this product but I gave it a try and am very glad I did. This product is really easy to use and allows you to connect any smart key and/or fob to your car. The dealer asked $120 to cut and program the key! For about $80 you can get a new key/remote and never have to go to the dealership or locksmith again to have a new key set up for your car. This is very important and NOT clear in the instructions: you will need to reprogram your ORIGINAL work key at the same time as pairing the new key(s) Video, which I looked at - Tom did NOT reprogram the original working key. He just programmed his new key. I followed the video and instructions. I still have 1 new working key but my original key did not start the car.
