This grinder is functional and affordable for what it is. It grinds the beans into relatively small grains. My biggest problem with this is moving the land to a second container. Unfortunately, the grinding bowl cannot be removed from the machine, which makes it difficult to pour out the grist. I found a method that basically works to remove the grind after the grind (turn the machine over and drop the grind into the top of the grinder, then unload the grind from the removable top), but it is still not perfect and I still end up with a bit of a mess.
