This coffee grinder is perfect for brewing coffee in a French Press. The only problem is the lid of the Digital didn't stay glued and when the grinder was turned on the cup count started at 8 instead of 1. We liked it so we just exchanged it instead of returning it.

I put in a scoop of beans and she barely ground them for her french press. I had to put in three spoonfuls to get a decent texture. Cleaning is quite dangerous because you really have to be very careful to keep your fingers away from the blades, which are sharp but not effective enough for the beans.

This thing works, but there are a few problems. First, ground coffee seeps through the bottom of the unit everywhere. No matter what I do, after I grind the coffee, there's a pile of coffee grounds underneath. Even if you put the lid on and press the grind button, sometimes it wants to work, sometimes it doesn't. It always works in the end, but hitting the button is hit or miss. I'm asking for a refund, it's just not what I expected.

The best thing about this grinder is the price! The Porta filter mill is usually expensive, this device is very inexpensive. I feel like it grinds just as well as my $200 coffee grinder.
