Review on 🖼️ d-c-fix Self-Adhesive Window Film - Perl, 17.7 inches x 78.7 inches by Toni Miller

I live in an apartment with a huge window that overlooks a busy street and footpath. There's nothing worse than sitting on the couch and looking out the window at people staring at you as they walk by. lol I had to do something lol After spending some time looking at different products I settled on this one (DC Fix 3460276 Pearl Self-Adhesive Window Film) and also bought a frosted glass spray. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how it turned out on my windows! And so I bought a matte spray from another company. It smelled (smoked) and didn't achieve the desired effect. This self-adhesive window film was worth it! :) Here are some tips. First, make sure you have a tape measure, pencil, razor blade, and mop (I found a $1.99 bathroom mop at Rite Aid that was perfect for this project!) 1) I have two rolls for one Bought large window and am glad I did. The roll isn't very wide so if you have a big project I would buy more than one. 2) Take your time when applying :) Other reviewers have mentioned that this is a two person job. I think it worked well on myself. Although the section my daughter helped me with went faster :) If you go too fast you could end up with blisters. The best application method I've found is to apply slowly, rolling from side to side, using my squeegee to wipe away any trapped air. If you make a mistake or have too many bubbles, you can uninstall this product and start over. I had to do this once on a strip which I quickly put on but it pulled easily and re-tacked. 3) Be sure to measure and cut a little more than you need. I noticed it worked well when I did it and once it was applied I just went over it with a razor blade to get a clean edge. Overall I am VERY happy with this product! It was easy to apply, took less than 20 minutes from start to finish and looks AMAZING! Not only does it look beautiful, it does exactly what it promises! I'm amazed at how much light my window lets in now that I'm not afraid to open it all the way. I don't have to worry about spying on my neighbors anymore :) PS DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A SYRINGE. THEY DON'T WORK AS GOOD AS THESE SELF-ADHESIVES! Now I need to stop using that cheap antifreeze spray on the upstairs window and buy more of this great upstairs product LOL.
