I used them for something other than knitting.
I bought these as a "topper" for my glue bottles. Art Glitter Glue is good with a thin metal tip but you have to use a needle to seal the tip which I have repeatedly lost! I then had to try other pens until I stumbled upon one that was made of stainless steel, otherwise they would rust. These guard pins have been recommended on YouTube and craft sites and they work GREAT. The price was good and the smaller ones fit perfectly on the Art Glitter Glue metal tip and the larger ones fit FabricFix and other glues that people put in a cake decorating bottle. I'm very happy as they will be the hardest to lose on my desk!
