I did not like this book as much as the others I have bought from Colorit. There are too many thick black lines which I think spoil the beauty of the picture. But I'm not a fan of drawings or mandalas. This is the reason for the 4 stars, which is a preference indeed. I love landscapes and pictures that I can color with my imagination. What I like is that it gives you a good selection of all the Colorit books, so you can freely buy the complete book after coloring the examples shown here. The paper is of the same high quality as I expected. from Colorit. I use pencils and gel pens and have no problems with them. Be sure to use blotting paper as some gels can smudge if not blotted after staining. After the ink has dried, there are no problems. I would recommend if you are trying to decide which books to buy, are a beginner and want to diversify the images or just mix and match your mood. I will continue to buy books from this company. I wish Colorit had books on desert or southwest themes. Another idea would be a good balloon book. The ones I found were of very low quality and originality.
