So far they're pretty good. I've had them four times on single tracks. It takes a few miles for them to spin freely, although they've never had a problem. I suspect they won't last long. Aluminum is light but weak against rocks. Here in Colorado we ride some pretty rocky trails and the gear takes a beating. I suspect I would buy them again. My only criticism of the design is that they could have used a few more touch points. If you don't wear velcro, you'll have to shop a little more. UPDATE: After many rides I'm starting to think they will last more than one season. Of course they get beaten, but they perform anyway. I haven't gotten off the pedals but I still wish I had more shopping on the pegs. Goodbye.
