I can't say enough good things about these GREAT knives! I grew up with old hickory knives all around the house and I just can't do without at least one or two in the kitchen. They have solid construction, very good edge retention and to be honest I haven't found another product that compares to the Old Hickory brand! It can be sharpened when it gets dull and if you take care of it, it will last you almost forever! I wouldn't need to buy more, but as my kids left home and moved to their own places, I noticed my old hickory stayed with them! HA! If you are looking for a GREAT paring knife I cannot recommend this brand enough! The service was really good and I packed them well before I expected. Great product and great service.
