My boat trailer didn't have a spare tire and I was on a cross country trip. If I didn't have a spare tire, I knew I would need it. So I bought the tire and this bracket to protect the tire from punctures. ;) The bracket holds the tire in such a way that it does not interfere with the boat. It kept the tire secure throughout my ride.
