Usually 1/16 inch larger than the specified diameter.

TW Evans make very good manila rope that is chemical free and has a very nice natural light chocolate color. Diameter is 16" smaller than listed, TW is typically 1/16" larger than listed. TW usually has a lot of "hair" that can be burned off with a torch.
