We had a lemon and lime squeezer that worked well, but after a while the sour juice wore off the juicer's paint coating. So we bought this one specifically because it was made from stainless steel with no paint coating or finish so we don't have to worry about paint chipping now. Plus, this juicer does exactly what it's supposed to - it squeezes lemons and limes. carefully so that the seeds do not penetrate. We bought a medium size which I thought was quite large but it's great for small limes too.
