Review on W.J. Hagerty Hagerty 12170 🔵 Silversmiths' Silver Wash: 19oz Blue Bottle by Janet Rivera

I highly recommend this polish. I have quite a bit of antique silver and am always looking for a polish that will keep it shiny without removing the patina. I've been using cream polish for years, which works well but is messy. I volunteer at a thrift store; They use Hagerty Silver Polish Foam for sale and I was impressed with how well it worked and how easy it was to use. When I ordered for myself I saw this and decided to try it instead. I highly recommend it. It made polishing my silver so quick and easy. Can be washed off without leaving any residue. Silver is left with a warm, beautiful shine. The trick I've found is to add just enough warm water to create a lather - it doesn't work like a cream - and then buff the pieces with a clean microfiber towel. I keep most of my silver fairly clean so there hasn't been much tarnishing on it. To really test this polish, I pulled out an old sterling silver compact that was stuck in my desk drawer and was completely blackened. It took a little more lathering and rubbing, but the shine returned quickly.
