I bought these to use as a holder for cheap forged washers on a new Chinese 8" 5/8 shaft bench grinder. I knew from previous reviews that the ID would be too small and would need to be edited before use. Good thing I have a lathe to fix them. I had to wrap the dowel in 150 grit sandpaper and sand the inside diameter until the inside diameter matched the shaft. One end was much smaller than the other. After the change, they worked great for what I wanted them to run smoothly for. Just be aware of what you're getting yourself into and realize that you need to be a little skilled at customizing them to suit your needs. One star for needing to remake and another star for poor quality control from the Hillman Group. Despite the flaws, still a good buy for the price.
