Installed on friend's lawn mower, appeared to be charged/serviced. The device turns on and turns green after a while. So I figured he was doing what he was supposed to. When I came back later it showed charging again, even with the battery disconnected it didn't stay in maintenance mode. Changed batteries, same result. The voltage did not change regardless of whether the device was connected to the network or not. I have a similar device on the mower, it has been working fine for several years. As others have said, the device appears to be dead. The cable weighs more than the entire plastic housing. Maybe it's just bad luck, but I have my doubts about the product.
