Review on Carson MM 940 86X 457X Microscope Integrated by Jennifer Shetty

We bought this item for our 9 year old son for Christmas. He showed an interest in science and we found some old slides that belonged to me when I was a kid. He was excited, we hooked it up to his computer and he could go through the slides and enjoy seeing what he couldn't. naked eye. Pros: 1) Easy installation - the software could be downloaded from the internet with a quick google search (which worked fine as the first computer didn't have a CD-ROM drive to boot from the media that came with it). 2) Good magnification, normal image. -- This is what I expected based on other reviews, especially at this price point. I didn't expect the quality of a science lab for the price I paid. Cons: 1) The resolution is a bit low but I knew this was happening and my son doesn't seem to notice. the purchase and the fact that it gives our son access to science and learning. He liked to check out various things he found around the house or in the yard.
