I want to love but I give back

This is a beautiful mug but I would not have bought it if I had held it in my hands first. The handle is too close to the top, requiring the person to either grab the mug themselves or hold it with their other hand. It's easy to balance with the handle, but I felt it might tip over and splash. The lid is not secure enough. The coffee pours out easily and does not retain heat. I have many other mugs for everyday drinking. I need the opportunity to travel with my favorite hot drink. It doesn't fit those requirements.
