Review on Dogtra ARC Remote Training Collar by Dorothy Collazos

Great product! Got this for the 3/4 mile range, weatherproof design and expandability to 2 dogs. By placing the receiver on the inside of the collar they try to hide the look of the e-collar a bit, but it's still pretty obvious what it is. This design creates gaps on either side of the receiver so the entire collar does not touch the dog's neck, but this is perfectly normal and does not affect the collar's function. The features are great, and it took me a while to figure out how to turn off the collar when not in use: either plug it into the charger, or just line up the red dots on the collar and receiver and hold until the collar flashes red . This will extend battery life as the collar will turn off when not in use. Very beautiful. The only downside I found is that the rheostat knob can move a bit and change the setting of the transmitter and has a "lock" function or click wheel for each stage. All in all, it's worth the money and will last a long time. For a long time. Durable and totally waterproof makes it great.
