Difficult to adjust cord length

I returned the lamp because we could not loosen the screw that keeps the cord the length it comes in. It is supposed to be "height adjustable" but the cord screws are cheap plastic and unscrewable. If the length it arrives in is the length you want, then I'm sure it will work fine for you. It was too long for us to go over our dining table.

This is a very pretty lamp for a small eat-in kitchen. It is all metal but the wood-looking part gives a very good impression of wood.The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because of the wattage. It hardly gives you light even if the nice bulb was included, a clear bulb is not enough light.
