Did the job I needed but was concerned they wouldn't last long.

I needed a pair of long snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring on the front of my John Deere 2210 final driveshaft. While I didn't have the stylus issues that others mention, I did find the tips to be quite soft. The shoulders on them wore out quickly, creating a slight slant that made it difficult to hold the retaining ring on the pliers.
