I bought these for my 2013 Ford Fusion. For the back seat, all I had to do was attach them and they fit perfectly. For the driver's side I had to cut the left side towards the front of the car. It was easy with a good pair of scissors. The fit isn't perfect, but overall it's very good and looks good. Passenger side not installed. I will use the spare to replace the driver's side when it wears out. I didn't notice the smell and I'm sensitive to such things.
