Cons/Warning: Not really a scam, just advice. It is impact resistant, but not impact or shatterproof. With this bottle design, the neck is always the weakest link when dropped, especially when the bottle is filled with water or other liquid. While all Tritan Copolymer containers are generally strong and can withstand some impact, they can still shatter if dropped on a hard surface, especially when containing contents. It's strong, but it can still break. Warning for long-term use of acidic and/or citrus/citrus drinks: There is a possibility of microcracks or cracks forming in the future. Other: Although this bottle has recycling code #7, it is still BPA FREE. If you read more about #7, you know that not all #7 contain BPA. Final Thoughts: Bought 2 narrow mouths and 1 wide mouth. We already have several of these bottles and have always been happy with them. It's always a good idea to research them before you buy. Knowing what you will be using it for and how you will be using the container/bottle can help you determine what type or composition of container/bottle will work best.
