Excellent pre-filter, best water filtration and softening
FIRST TIME I use it as a pre-filter in my garage. After that filters, my whole house chlorine filter, then my salt water softener. I have extra filters on the taps because I'm superfluous. This removes any rust and dirt from the water and extends the life of my chlorine filter and salt softener. The last time I changed them was 5 months ago, so they are cheap for the duration of the filtration. After only 4 days of using the new filter, I can see that it is no longer snow white but has a slight orange tint. I'm on city water if that matters.
