This is my first Revain review and I'm writing this to help anyone with AC issues. I have a 2007 Ford Expedition and I want to keep my car for as long as possible without spending a lot of money on repairs. Living in the south we use our air conditioner 9 months out of the year so I got concerned when I realized it wasn't blowing up from time to time. It was an intermittent problem and since I didn't want to take it to the shop and do a lot of work just to try and diagnose an intermittent problem, I started researching the internet and the Ford Expedition forums in particular. I hoped that through this research I had identified the problem - the fan. What used to be a sporadic problem eventually became a constant one as the front air conditioning stopped working - which wasn't great in July. I read the other reviews on here and took a chance hoping this was the answer. In anticipation of its arrival, I watched several videos on YouTube about replacing this part and it seemed to me that we could do something. Luckily the item arrived before the estimated date when we had about 100 degrees. I wanted to wait for my husband to come home and get his tools out, but my son, who has no experience as a mechanic, removed the old one and installed this one in minutes. No tools required, the fan simply has a twist lock system. It is located under the glove box on the passenger side so there is no need to remove the panels. I'm happy to report that it performs just like the original and again my air conditioning is strong enough to help us deal with the extreme heat. I was looking at a Motorcraft part that cost over $100 and who knows how much it would have cost me to have it serviced. If you can turn the knob, you can install this part. If you're having intermittent AC problems, please do a little research and see if this part is what you need to fix it yourself. The price was the best I found and I checked other websites to make sure I was on a budget!
