The easiest way to make good spaetzle - large and easy to use, fits securely in my favorite 9.5" ID skillet. I like to take the dough from all angles and push it through big enough holes. I've read reviews that it's not possible to work on a simmering pot, this really isn't a problem if you bring the water to a boil and then reduce it the heat while you work with the dough. clean with no hidden edges Also suitable as a strainer lid The included scraper works but is too flexible for my liking, I have used a stiffer bench/bowl scraper and prefer it.
