Review on 🚪 Dorman 74300 Black Rear Driver Side Exterior Door Handle for Chevrolet / GMC Models: Enhanced Functionality and Style by Johnathan Rothstein

Fourth replacement for my S10 in 15 years. This unit seems to be of good quality, better than OEM. And for $9, there's definitely nothing to complain about. However, a warning when installing. On the back of the unit are two clips that grip two bars in the door that operate the top and bottom door latches. The fastening part of these two clamps is attached loosely. When trying to attach it to one of the bars, the attachment part of this clip broke off and fell in the door and it could not be recovered. However, the old block had two similar clips that could still be used. So I could swap places and everything worked. A warning though. Be careful when installing and don't let the clips fall off and fall into the door.
