I bought this and set it to 24A to use the dryer output. It is quite easy to use and clearly shows the charging status. I don't want to spend huge money to install an electric vehicle charging station, but use the dryer socket instead socket - NEMA 10-30 which is 30A maximum, but 24A is the maximum safe current to use. I bought a split volt splitter to automatically switch my dryer and EV charger to avoid fire hazard. When the charger is set to 24A, the input current from the outlet is 24A, but the output current in the charger shows 22.6A, the total power is about 5.42kW, which is 4 times faster than a 120- Level 1 V charger. Overall the quality is good and easy to use. Adjust the current, there are no overheating problems (30Β°C at the beginning, 35Β°C after 1 hour charging), the cable is not hot or warm. What I don't like is that it doesn't have UL certification and no white box packaging, it's like unbranded production, the company says it has a one year warranty but I don't know if it's easy to have one Guarantee to take advantage if something will happen.
