Review on πŸͺš Enhance your Carpentry with Freud Brick Molding Shank 99 460: A Comprehensive Review & Buying Guide by Mario Beaklini

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great item, works as expected!

This brick cutter has a 1/2" shank (ie not suitable for use in most hand routers as a 3" or larger bit would be too large and exceed the safe's operating speed of this bit which is 11-12000rpm) The bit is great for making your own brick moldings for new ones or replacing certain moldings in your home. The bit made nice flat and sharp mahogany edges which I have used to replace adding and modifying door and window openings; I made them out of 2"x 4" and 2"x 6" mahogany wood I bought at bib stores, turned them and then cut them to the desired/required thickness on a table saw... It did cost me a fortune to buy all the mahogany brick I need (which was originally installed in my 1930's house) based on the properties of the old stucco I'm replacing (due to sizing) my new brick mold should last over 70 years ; 0)
