Bought to play my kids video library on long car rides. The car has a component audio/video input, so that was my basic requirement. However, I was quite impressed with the overall quality of this product. It's designed to be resistant to future video file formats and also supports my 2TB external USB drive (note: few media players support ExFAT drives - if you have a large drive to mount, keep that in mind). The remote control is simple and easy to use. I don't have a 4K TV, but it's nice to know it will work well on future TVs too. for this product it is definitely worth mentioning (it costs 5-10 dollars alone).
