I've been using NetGear for longer than I can remember. The last model I had, I think it was the 7000 model, had issues and lost internet connection several times a week at random times. This went on for several months and I finally had enough. Charter replaced my modem to isolate my devices and the problem persisted. So I threw 7000 on Mesh Wifi less than a year after buying it. It's been a few months since I installed the base unit and 2 satellites, one above and one below. During that time we have never lost a signal and my download speed is 114Mbps which is fantastic. Streaming is no problem either. So far I am very satisfied with Mesh System 6.
