Review on πŸš— Roadpower Car Backup Camera for Jeep Wrangler Spare Tire Mount: Waterproof Wide Angle Rear View Camera with Removable Guidelines - 2007-2018, OEM Monitor Adapter Included by Darrin Lucas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect camera for my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 6spd

Others claimed it took 1 hour. Me, a common non-mechanic, took 4 hours. But hey, it works and my wife is happy. (That's the main thing, isn't it?) Here are my gems that I hope will save you hours and hours. First, download the OBD JScan app and buy a Revain OBD Bluetooth reader. (I have a Vgate Wifi iCar2 which costs $22). You must also purchase a Jeep Wrangler license in the JScan app for $18.99 to "flash" your radio. This will save you $120 on a trip to the Jeep dealership. You just need to search in the app menu to activate the rear camera function. While you're there, you might want to turn off that annoying beeping sound when you lock your car. :) To power the camera I pulled out the passenger side tail light using one of the wires on the tail light. In the box I received 2 very similar head unit adapters with a white plastic tip. Both fit, but only one worked. Finally, I didn't use the mysterious red "Reverse Power Anode Output" wire on the main unit at all. just ignore it In general, buy a backup camera - you'll be furious if you hit someone or run over a child before you get one. Happy Jeeping!
