Review on 📻 Dual Electronics MAW40: Long Range Marine Antenna for AM/FM Radio - Black, Soft Wire, Flexible Universal Design by Chris Hanson

This antenna does a good job. Although it claims to be a dipole antenna, I don't think that's true. A real dipole will probably give slightly better reception but this antenna was exactly what I was looking for and it provides adequate signal reception. It has no problem connecting the stations I listen to and I live about 20 miles from the city where most station transmitters are located. One caveat, and I almost gave this antenna 1 star before accidentally tripping over it before writing my review: when my phone is plugged into a USB charging port, signal reception is COMPLETELY wiped out. I'm lucky if I get ONE station reliably. It may have more to do with my phone or radio than the actual antenna. Apparently one of them is causing enough interference in the charging circuit to drown out radio reception. Turn off your phone and reception is fine. Hope this helps someone! My phone is an iPhone SE (older) and the radio is a Sony DSX-M80.
