Review on Nostalgia FPS200 6-Cup Stainless Steel Electric Fondue Pot for Chocolate, Caramel, Cheese, Sauces and More - with Temperature Control, 6 Color-Coded Forks, and Removable Pot by Icehot Cleversley

The maximum temperature is 350 degrees. Can't use meat/oil for fondue

It's great for me because it's not big. (Easy storage.) It really is designed for 4-6 servings, max. The sticker on the bottom clearly states that it is NOT suitable for cooking with oil and the maximum heat setting is 350 degrees. This is a disadvantage if you want to use it for meat fondue. But perfect for cheese and dessert fondue. I love that the pot is completely removable. Although the pot itself is made of stainless steel and is easy to clean, it is not dishwasher-safe. And the pot handles are cheap so I used potholders. I have a small cast iron pancake pan that fits perfectly on the base so the base can be used as a small heating pad on the countertop. I bet it could also be used to keep the sauce warm. The forks are of average quality (a bit cheap again) and the "fork ring" is also cheap but ok. And the ring can be removed from the pan (although they didn't use it at all).
