I haven't contacted support for the remote so I don't think it's fair to give it one star. I bought two and the quality of my light is pretty close to triple digits. I also like having two lighting angles and being able to combine two shots to run the right application at the same time. That's four stars because my iPhone X, which has a very thin body, sinks in a bit after I latch it, causing bent arms to give a little under the weight. There's nothing I can't maneuver with, but the extra catching adds to the stress of getting the perfect shot. I LOVE them because the clips themselves are pretty strong and I can attach them to almost anything. I might glue some thin wooden slates with rubber or fabric on top to hold them better when I need to fish. The phone clip and hand clip are very strong and sturdy. It's not flimsy stuff at all. And the hand gives only a few centimeters. That's a lot in the selfie world, but nothing to pay tenfold to avoid.
