A little misleading. The item information reads that there is no sticky adhesive and that was indeed the case. There was nothing in the packing besides the button, unlike what some other buyers claimed.I had to take off the front panel to install it, still not difficult. HOWEVER, the one disappointment was after I snapped the new button on, 2 of the small fastener grommets had cracked/broken. The plastic just appears too thin in those areas. Its seems sturdy enough so hopefully the other 3 grommets keep it in place.
