Review on 🚪 FS-1306 Door Closer: Grade 3 Spring Hydraulic Auto Door-Closer with Easy Installation – Silver Aluminium by Ivan Carson

I have read some previous reviews that said the installation instructions for this door closer are difficult to understand. The instructions may have been improved but I think the instructions are very clear and it even includes a life size template for drilling holes in the door and door frame. I give Fortress 5 stars for the instructions. The hardware is also very good. The quality seems very high, but I'll admit it's only been installed for a few days. I installed this on a very heavy solid oak door from the house to the garage. The fire code requires the door to be spring loaded to ensure it closes. The door slammed so hard that the door upholstery came off the door. This door closer completely eliminates door slamming while closing the door with a pleasant, quiet click. I made a few small adjustments to the closing speed as instructed and the door closes perfectly. This device requires little effort to open the door, but no one in my family has had a problem with it. I am really impressed with the performance of this device. All in all - I would highly recommend this device.
