I am very satisfied with the paper. I did some intricate sketches with white and gold gel pens and the fibers stayed intact. Then I took some gouache paint and played around a bit. Watery paint won't pick up the paper, but does a great job with multiple layers of paint as long as the brush stays dry. It doesn't have a lot of teeth so layering didn't work that well on Conte colored pencils, but I think if I was just using it for quick sketches it would be fine. The only real issue I had was that the paper is advertised at 90 pounds, but it is definitely a lot thinner than other papers I have that are labeled 90 pounds. It seems a lot closer to 80 pound paper. .
