I unpacked the thing 20 minutes ago. It took me so little time to unpack it, remove the wrapping from the bulb, turn it on and check how warm it is. I'm already too hot to put my hands on it comfortably. This thing can't be safe for birds in a cage. Also, the cable is snap-proof, but do I have to run the plug and derailleur through the 1/2" cage bars? Most plug-in products that come with a cage have a smaller plug in the middle of the cable that can actually go through the bars. Not this one. The only benefit is that I can put this outside of the cage, but that's not enough for me to keep for the price. Will receive a refund.
