Review on 📏 Faber-Castell Trio Sharpener Box Grip 2001 Silver: Ultimate Precision for Pencil Sharpening by Amanda Castillo

I've had a very bad relationship with pencil sharpeners, especially Prismacolor Premier colored pencils. I went over almost the entire pencil multiple times before I could get a point without breaking it. I know Prismacolor has a bad reputation in this regard but sharpening an almost full pencil was starting to irritate me a lot - so I tried different pencil sharpeners and although Prismacolor has a bad reputation the sharpener really seems to make the difference make . This Grip Trio thing is pretty good. First, the blades are sharp. It doesn't take much twisting to get a good result and you have two different nib shapes to choose from, plus a hole for larger pens and I'm a big fan of variety. At the time of writing this article I didn't have to sharpen 3/4 of a pencil, which maybe just luck in the pencil universe. They also have shavings that collect shavings so you don't have to hover over a trash can or paper plate while sharpening. So for now this is my main item in my pencil sharpener collection. If the blades hold their sharpness for a reasonable amount of time I'll probably replace it with another one. OK, that's my review. Part II: It's been a few months now and still no problems and no sharpened pencils which makes me a happy backpacker as those damn things aren't cheap. I just ordered another one of these as I like to have a backup. ok later Part III: I swear to you I haven't sharpened a pencil since using this thing. They were sold out when I tried to re-order but tried again the day before yesterday and they were back in stock so I ordered two more. Gave them both a test run and voila! Same great sharpness. I will leave one in the studio, one as a backup and one in my travel bag. I love it when everything works the way it's supposed to.
