I highly doubt it's 1 micron, but if you're looking for a cheap filter that performs like 5/10 microns then they're fine.
They're great value and you get exactly what you paid for - great value filters. I highly doubt it's 1 micron, but if you want a cheap filter that performs like 5/10 microns then these are fine. If you really need a 1 micron filter you will have to look elsewhere and possibly pay more. I usually use 2 microns to filter rust out of city water and they tempted me with their low price. They arrived on time and there was nothing wrong with them other than the fact that if you need more than a cheap filter they will disappoint you.
