We use this polarizing film to filter out light reflections in photography. We've always had an issue with striped reflections from gym floors and decided to give it a try. The flash and camera settings have to be adjusted, but if the polarizing material is properly aligned, the reflections disappear. It doesn't cut off as much light as a polarizing filter attached to a camera lens. We cut out 2 pieces for the filter holders for each flash, one for vertical shooting and one for horizontal shooting. It's not as convenient as rotating the filter, but it's a very economical solution to the problem.
