Review on 🔥 TPI TSH20JW Series TSH Fan Forced Kick Space Specialty Heater: Efficient Heating with White Grill by Douglas Norton

If I could only give 1.5 stars this would be my rating. The processing of this product is very sloppy. When opening the device, the motor mount came loose completely. When trying to tighten one of the bolts, they were completely torn off (replaced with a larger bolt), and when tightening the bracket, the rotors did not move at all; It took a couple of shims to fold down the engine block to allow the fan to clear the bottom of the case. This explains why the unit I replaced, which stopped working after about 10 years, always sounded like a jet engine when turned on. The frustrating thing about the craftsmanship here: electrical knockouts. You are NOT "knocked out". Deleting is actually not possible. They just couldn't be removed and it took me a few holes to drill and a lot of effort to create the hole. I wrapped the duct tape to hold the Romex in place. Just awful. However, the unit is installed and appears to be working well (and again much quieter than its predecessor, thanks to a small operation on my part). So unless you're willing to mess around a lot - or live with a poorly designed unit, I'd stay away from it. The only reason I bought was to replace the old one and I was afraid another brand/type wouldn't work with my existing thermostat.
