Review on Honeywell Home MicroDefense Furnace Filter by Cesar Cook

Having used higher rated Merv filters for the last several years, my system has sometimes had trouble staying cool/warm depending on the time of year. It ran constantly on hot or cold days because it just wasn't moving as much air due to the more restrictive nature of the Merv 12, which became even more restrictive with use. While it may have filtered out more particles, we paid for it in both wallet and comfort. By switching to Merv 8 my system just seems to breathe better and recovery when t-stat is lower or higher is faster which doesn't always work now either!
