I bought these spacers to use with my XJ OR-Fab winch bumper so I could install the Warn XD9000. The XD9000 is larger than the "medium" winch, and its end rested on the beveled outer edge of my bumper mounting plate, preventing the winch from sitting flush with the plate. These spacers provided just enough room to keep the end from going beyond the edge of the board. They are much more reliable than the same thick fender washers and do a much better winch job. The kit also includes longer bolts needed to properly attach the winch, so don't worry. The hole spacing is a standard size (or at least Warn standard, I bet it's also the industry standard) which means there are likely many other uses for them besides a polypropylene winch on a given bumper.
