Review on Moog 81051 Coil Spring Set by Brian Nelson

I replaced these and the rear springs at the same time. I also used Moog 81051 springs for this, although I have a 2002 GMC Envoy SLE 4WD (not XL). It was a simple setup. Note that the coil spring insulator is only needed for the top of the spring (Moog K160072). When I removed my original OEM springs there was only an insulator between the top frame and the spring. The lower spring rested directly on the metal frame and plate. These Bilstein shocks were a direct replacement for my stock shocks. My ride actually went up about 1/2" to 1" with this combo and Moog 81114 and Bilstein 24-103336, but it rides beautifully.
