Review on 🍲 Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Stainless Steel 2-Quart Saucepan with Lid by Mark Allen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Affordable all-clad alternative

If you are looking for an all-clad alternative based on price then this may be what you are looking for. It's made similar to the All-Clad. It's durable, with stainless steel rivets, just like the All-Clad. I have a full set of All Clad so I can do a good comparison. In general, it is strikingly similar. If you can't afford the All-Clad's hefty price tag, then this is a decent affordable version that you can use just like the All-Clad. It moves easily from range to oven, cooks evenly, and adds a solid feel to quality cookware. The difference seems to be the weight. My All Clad appears to have more content than Cuisinart. This is particularly noticeable on the lid. The lid is definitely less steel than my All Clad. When cooking, I noticed discoloration inside the pot after the first use. That really disappointed me. All I did was use a small pot of oatmeal to test it and after I washed it out the bottom and sides of the pot where the oatmeal was was quite noticeable with steel staining. I washed it in the dishwasher, no change. I've used it a dozen more times since I received it and the discoloration is permanent. But if those are the only downsides (discoloration on the inside of the pot and a little less steel in the construction), then I can't complain either. a lot of. It cooks like my All Clad for a quarter the price.
