But what about stains?

I have used this pan three times, twice for pasta and once for steaming corn on the cob. These weird "spots" appeared at the bottom of the pan. They don't affect the use of the pan and are therefore not covered by the replacement product warranty, but paying $50 for a stainless steel pan that has stains or stains is no good. does not show the same tendency to stain. Of course I just used the same water and the same milder cleaner both times. None of them were in the dishwasher. I like the…

A few issues Good for pots

I have a similar version of this pot (Cuisinart 419-14 Contour Stainless Pot with Lid) I wanted a second pot but after reading the reviews I settled on this one (Cuisinart MCP19- 2 Quart 18N MultiClad Pro Stainless Steel Pot with Lid) got the best reviews so I decided to give it a try. This pot is wider but shorter than my old pot and the lid is hard and flat. It also has a heavier bottom. My old pot has a vented lid and a domed shape. I usually steam rice or veggies in this pot and neither…

I'm glad I chose MultiClad Pro!

I preferred buying by the piece rather than the factory set so will check the items individually but this is for my entire collection of one 2 liter and two 4 liter pots with lid, 8 1 liter saucepan with lid, 12" and 10" pans. This is by far the best cookware I have ever owned. Very well made, looks amazing, cooks like a dream and was easy to clean. It is suitable for everything from frying, stewing, preparing sauces (tomato based and others) without any problems. If you haven't cooked with…

Sturdy pot fits pans

I bought this pan to replace an old non-stick saucepan that was starting to lose its coating in some places. I was a little worried it wasn't non-stick, but I had no problems. Now I'm thinking that a non-stick pan is probably not needed (at least for me). This pan is a lot heavier than my old pan, but in this case it's actually good. I've had this pan for about 7 months now and I'm very happy with it. I also have a 3 liter pan and when my 1 liter pan wears out I will probably buy this brand…

Affordable all-clad alternative

If you are looking for an all-clad alternative based on price then this may be what you are looking for. It's made similar to the All-Clad. It's durable, with stainless steel rivets, just like the All-Clad. I have a full set of All Clad so I can do a good comparison. In general, it is strikingly similar. If you can't afford the All-Clad's hefty price tag, then this is a decent affordable version that you can use just like the All-Clad. It moves easily from range to oven, cooks evenly, and adds…

Great Value - Kitchen & Dining

I was looking for a stainless steel pot set to replace my very old Magnalite aluminum set which was badly pitted. I wanted fully clad stainless steel cookware. I looked at All-Clad Stainless, Cuisinart Multiclad Pro, Calphalon Triply, and Tramontina Triply. I wanted the folded edge to make casting easier to eliminate all-clad and tramontina records. Not sure which of the other two I wanted, I bought one each of the Cuisinart Multiclad Pro and Calphalon Triply Stainless to test. After using each
