Review on 🍲 Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Stainless Steel 2-Quart Saucepan with Lid by Daniel Shivashankar

I have a similar version of this pot (Cuisinart 419-14 Contour Stainless Pot with Lid) I wanted a second pot but after reading the reviews I settled on this one (Cuisinart MCP19- 2 Quart 18N MultiClad Pro Stainless Steel Pot with Lid) got the best reviews so I decided to give it a try. This pot is wider but shorter than my old pot and the lid is hard and flat. It also has a heavier bottom. My old pot has a vented lid and a domed shape. I usually steam rice or veggies in this pot and neither will fit in a new pot because the flat, unvented lid causes the rice to overcook and my steamed veg basket is 1/8" too tall for it. The pan is short, so the lid isn't tight.If I'm making something that doesn't need a lid, like sauce, this pan will do.
