After trying this product on several different materials, I was wholly unimpressed with its performance. Despite its claims of durability and precision, it quickly became evident that the CMT panel wasn't up to par. While it might suffice for occasional hobby work, it is not up to the standards needed for more complex, industrial and scientific projects.
